Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken legs or thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup buttermilk or milk
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Preheat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or a heavy bottomed pot.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs and buttermilk or milk together.
- Dip chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mixture. Shake off excess flour.
- Gently place chicken into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

- Place the salmon in the pan skin side up and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until desired doneness.

Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 slices of bacon
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Mayonnaise
- Waffle fries (optional)
Instructions:
- Season chicken with salt and pepper and grill or pan-fry until cooked through.
- Toast or heat up waffle fries, if using.
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading mayo on the bottom bun, adding lettuce, tomato, chicken, cheese, bacon, and top bun.
- Serve with waffle fries on the side.
