Instructions:
- Pound chicken to 1/2-in. thickness. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. In a second bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce.
- Dredge chicken in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip chicken in buttermilk mixture, then again in flour mixture.
- In an electric skillet, heat 1/2 in. of oil to 375°. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, 5-6 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- To assemble sandwich, spread mayonnaise on bottom bun. Drizzle honey and hot sauce on top. Add chicken and pickles, and top with top bun.
