- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 4 brioche buns
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles
Instructions:
- Cut the chicken into 4 even pieces and pound each one to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- In a shallow dish, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together the milk and egg.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Dip each piece of chicken in the milk mixture, then coat in the seasoned flour mixture.
- Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Assemble the sandwiches by spreading 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with a piece of fried chicken and a few pickles.
- Place the other bun half on top and enjoy!
