Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Oil for frying
- 4 buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and mayo for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally to make 4 thin cutlets.
- In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- In another shallow dish, pour buttermilk.
- Coat each chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Dip each cutlet into the buttermilk and then back into the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry chicken cutlets until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Place cooked chicken cutlets on buns and top with desired toppings. Enjoy!
